Amber Plante

Amber Plante, Ph.D. began their work experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Skidmore College in May 2012. Amber used MorphoJ software and morphometrics to study lead-induced asymmetry in fruit fly development. Amber also tested PhotoModeler software for investigating 3-dimensional geometric morphometrics. During this time, they also served as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant. In September 2014, Plante became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, a position they held until May 2021. Amber'smost recent role is as a Scientist I in Pharmacology-Electrophysiology and Neural Circuits at Sage Therapeutics since March 2022.
