Lauren Folino

Lauren Folino has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Lauren is currently working as an Associate Director of Consumer Marketing at Sage Therapeutics. Prior to that, they held various roles at Akebia Therapeutics, including Associate Director of Alliance Management, Associate Director of Marketing, and Senior Product Manager of Marketing. Lauren also worked as a Senior Product Manager of Marketing at Keryx Biopharmaceuticals. Lauren's earlier experience includes positions at Shire, John Wiley and Sons, Haymarket Media, Inc. Magazine, The Martha's Vineyard Times, BlackBook Media, and Boston Magazine, where they held roles such as Product Manager, Professional Education Specialist, CMLR Consultant, Business Development Manager, Associate Editor, Reporter, Editorial & Sales Assistant, and Editorial Intern. Lauren Folino obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University between 2004 and 2008. Their degree focused on English & Textual Studies as well as Political Science. Prior to attending Syracuse University, they attended Tabor Academy from 2000 to 2004, although no degree or field of study is provided for this educational experience. In addition to their formal education, Lauren also holds a certification in Customer Experience Innovation from the Northwestern University Medill School, which they obtained in February 2021.
