Luis Larios has a diverse work experience with various organizations. In 2018, they worked as a Recruiting Assistant Intern at White & Case LLP. In 2019, they served as a Residential Assistant at SMASH, and as a Health Promotion Intern at UCSB Department of Health & Wellness. In 2020, Luis worked as a Health Career Opportunity Scholar at AltaMed Health Services, and also as a Course Content Developer and Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant at the Department of Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology, UC Santa Barbara. In 2021, they co-founded Digital Health and Informatics. In 2022, Luis took on roles as a Pharmacy & Formulary Intern at L.A. Luis Larios has an education history that includes various academic achievements and certifications. Luis completed their high school education at John C Fremont Senior High and obtained a High School Diploma in the field of STEM in 2017. Following that, they attended UC Santa Barbara from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology.
Luis continued their education at the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, starting in 2021. Luis pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2025. Additionally, they concurrently pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Healthcare Decision Analysis at the same institution from 2023 to 2025.
Furthermore, Luis has obtained two additional certifications. In September 2021, they completed the APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification at the American Pharmacists Association (APhA-ASP) Midwestern University CPDG. In July 2021, they also obtained the Pharmacist [Intern] certification from the California State Board of Pharmacy.
