Luke Weedin Pharmd

Luke Weedin, PharmD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Luke is currently employed at Sage Therapeutics, where they hold the role of Senior Director National Payer Accounts. Prior to this, they served as the National Account Director and Director of Government Payer Accounts at the same company.

Before joining Sage Therapeutics, Luke worked at Biogen as a Regional Account Manager and a Medical Value Liaison. Luke also gained experience as a Managed Care Specialist at Forest Laboratories and as a Clinical Authorizations Coordinator at Pharmaceutical Technologies Inc.

Luke's career started in the healthcare industry at Bryan Health, where they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist for nearly four years. Luke also served as a Pharmacist Intern at The Nebraska Medical Center during their early professional years.

Luke Weedin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Luke then pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Creighton University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Bellevue University. Weedin specialized in Business Administration with a Healthcare Concentration during their time at Bellevue University, which they attended from 2010 to 2012.
