Lesley J. White, MSW, LICSW has extensive experience in the field of patient engagement, advocacy, and social work.

Starting in 2011, Lesley worked as an Administrative Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital's Psychiatry Academy, where they provided customer service support for continuing medical education programs.

In 2013, they became a Clinical Social Work Intern at Edward Devotion School, where they supported students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs through individual counseling and therapeutic groups. Lesley J. also collaborated with clinical and special education teams to discuss appropriate supports for the students.

From 2014 to 2015, Lesley served as a Clinical Social Work Intern in the Multi-visceral Transplant Program at Boston Children's Hospital. In this role, they conducted psychosocial assessments for pediatric transplant patients and provided concrete resources and emotional support.

Lesley J. managed relationships with advocacy organizations, patients, caregivers, and others to understand and support patient needs.

Currently, Lesley holds the position of Director of Pipeline Patient Engagement and Advocacy at Sage Therapeutics since 2023. In this role, they continue to build partnerships and support patient communities in the field of central nervous system diseases.

Lesley J. White obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology with a minor in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Lesley J. attended this institution from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Clinical Social Work at Boston University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015.

Lesley also holds several additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained a license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker from ASWB - Association of Social Work Boards. Later, in 2022, they obtained a license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker from the same institution. Lesley J. also obtained the Mildred A. Flashman Family Therapy Certificate from the Boston University School of Social Work in May 2015.

Additionally, Lesley White holds a certification as a School Social Worker from the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The specific month and year of this certification, however, were not provided.
