Shane Maxwell, MBA, has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 30 years. Shane currently serves as a Sr. Training Manager at Sage Therapeutics, where they are a key contributor in designing a New Hire Learning Journey for the launch of a new product. Shane collaborates with senior leadership and stakeholders to align resources, messaging, expectations, and timelines. Shane also partners with vendors to deliver an experiential on-boarding experience.

Prior to their role at Sage Therapeutics, Shane worked at Biogen as a Sr. Training Manager, responsible for designing and executing commercial training programs for the Alzheimer's Selling Division. Shane created learning programs for new hires and workshops for national and regional meetings. Shane managed external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning content on time and within budget.

Before Biogen, Shane held the position of Sr. Territory Business Manager at the same company, where they successfully grew a $50-million-dollar rare disease portfolio for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. Shane coordinated and executed sales goals at a regional level, working with cross-functional teams to maximize relationships and ensure prescription pull-through.

Earlier in their career, Shane worked as a Territory Business Manager at Stallergenes Greer, where they achieved outstanding results in revenue generation and account acquisition. Shane negotiated contracts and implemented a successful buy & bill sales model.

Shane's experience also includes roles at GSK, where they served as a Sales Specialist and achieved exceptional market share growth for the COPD & Asthma Product Portfolio. Shane also held positions as a Business Systems Manager and Product Training Manager, where they spearheaded training initiatives, collaborated with vendors, and delivered training to leadership at all levels.

Prior to their pharmaceutical industry experience, Shane served in the US Army as a Specialist. Shane was trained to be deployed quickly anywhere in the world and managed daily departmental activities.
