Valari Regan

Valari Regan has a diverse work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Valari is currently working as the Director of Total Rewards at Sagent, where they are responsible for driving the compensation and benefits strategy of the fintech startup. Prior to this, Valari served as the Interim Human Resources Director at Unity Medical & Surgical Hospital, where they managed employee relations, investigations, and recruitment. From 2014 to 2019, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at United Federal Credit Union, where they led a team of 11 and was responsible for enhancing company culture and setting strategic plans. Before that, Valari worked as the Total Rewards Manager at Crowe Horwath LLP, overseeing compensation, benefits, and reward programs. Valari began their career as an HR Director at Edgewater Bank, where they handled all HR duties and services, strategic planning, and benefit administration.

Valari Regan received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Classical Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, graduating in 1993. Prior to their college education, they obtained a high school diploma from Buchanan High School, completing their studies there from 1985 to 1989. In terms of additional certifications, Valari obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in December 2015, and earlier, in May 2005, they achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the same institution.
