Richard Jones

Richard Jones is the current Executive Director at Sage's Army. Prior to that, they were a contributing writer for FanSided from October 2019 to April 2022. Richard was responsible for compiling scouting reports and analyzing individual NFL team needs for yearly NFL Draft coverage. Richard also wrote 4-8 page articles, ranging in length and breadth, researching individual athlete's college and professional performances, watching college and pro film (broadcast and All-22) to assess player and team strengths and weaknesses.

Prior to working at FanSided, Richard worked as a data entry clerk for Pro Football Focus from May 2019 to April 2022. Richard's specializations included defensive coverage identification and quarterback passing analysis. Richard was responsible for entering assigned data points for PFF database remotely. Using game footage, they extrapolated the required data for each process and entered it in a quick, timely manner. Data was entered live or soon after a game, requiring a strong focus on time management and coordination with teammates/supervisors.
