Energy Analyst at Sagewell

Josh Cantor has held various positions in the energy, GIS, and research sectors since 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an Office Assistant at Proteus Research and a Parking Facilities Attendant at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. In 2009, they began studying Geography, East Asian Studies, and Cultural Studies at McGill University. In 2012, they worked as a GIS Research Assistant at Boston University, where they used ArcGIS to analyze environmental patterns along public transit routes in the City of Boston. In 2013, they held three positions simultaneously: Energy Analyst, Project Coordinator, and Seasonal Thermal Image Analyst at Sagewell, Inc; GIS Technician and GIS Intern at the Town of Wellesley DPW. As Energy Analyst, they administered electric vehicle load management programs for utility clients in several states, drove enrollment and participation in electric vehicle programs, and analyzed electric vehicle charging behavior. As Project Coordinator, they coordinated and led several electric vehicle outreach initiatives, developed and maintained relationships with residents, and drove content for multiple websites. As Seasonal Thermal Image Analyst, they utilized database queries to analyze heat levels and spatial patterns, and utilized Google Earth (KMZ) maps and Streetview products for address verification. As GIS Technician, they managed GIS databases and relevant inspection media, and developed instruction manuals to streamline feature-mapping workflows. As GIS Intern, they created custom GIS maps to enhance snow plow navigation, and collected GPS points of water curb stops using a Trimble device.

Josh Cantor attended McGill University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography.
