Lynsey Welmers

Lynsey Welmers is an experienced special education professional with a diverse background in various educational settings. Since August 2017, Lynsey has served as a Special Education Teacher at Saginaw ISD, specifically with the Saginaw Therapeutic Education Program for elementary students, as well as at the Saginaw County Juvenile Detention Center during the 2017-2018 school year. Additionally, Lynsey has been a Special Education Consultant for the Michigan Department of Education since January 2017. Previous roles include serving as a Special Education Teacher for emotional impairment programs at Carrollton Public Schools and Bay-Arenac ISD from 2010 to 2017, with a focus on middle school students. Lynsey holds a Master’s degree in School Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Saginaw Valley State University.
