Anand Iyengar has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Anand is currently the Managing Director, APAC at Sahaj Software Solutions, where they partner with organizations to build data-led and AI native products and solutions. Prior to their current role, Anand held various positions at ThoughtWorks, including Head of Demand, Market Principal APAC, and Managing Director for the SEA region. Anand was responsible for sales strategy, team leadership, client relationship management, and developing go-to-market strategies. Anand also has experience as an Offshore Principal at ThoughtWorks, where they focused on offshore business development and achieving sales targets. Before joining ThoughtWorks, they worked in roles such as Product Manager/Developer at CriticalSense and Business Analyst at Karna Technologies. Anand began their career as a Developer at ConneXions Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. and later served as the University of Iowa's Intranet Manager and Executive MBA Coordinator.
Anand Iyengar completed their high school education at Bal Bharati Public School from the years 1980 to 1992. Anand then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours at Delhi University, graduating between 1993 and 1996. Later, Anand obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in IT Strategy from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 1998 to 2000.
