Hasibur Rahaman

Hasibur Rahaman is a Senior Principal Scientist at Sai Life Sciences Ltd since September 2024, previously serving as Principal Scientific Manager at Aragen Life Sciences from July 2022 to August 2024. With extensive experience at Biocon Bristol-Myers Squibb Research Center in Syngene International Ltd from August 2013 to June 2022, Hasibur held various titles including Principal Investigator, Senior Research Investigator, and Research Investigator. Earlier roles include postdoctoral research at Gakushuin University under Prof. Takahiko Akiyama, focusing on asymmetric organic transformations, and at the University of Jyväskylä under Prof. Petri M Pihko, specializing in the design and synthesis of new organocatalysts. Hasibur earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory in Pune between 2002 and 2008, holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Visva-Bharati (1999-2001), and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of Burdwan.
