Jonathan Castillo

Jonathan Castillo has a strong background in biology and drug discovery. Jonathan has held various roles in renowned companies and organizations throughout their career. Their most recent position was as an Associate Director at Sai Life Sciences Ltd, where they worked from 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Scientist at PineTree Therapeutics Inc from 2021 to 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Jonathan worked at Enanta Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist and Project Team Leader, being responsible for supporting antiviral discovery programs and contributing to efforts against respiratory diseases, including COVID-19. Prior to that, they held positions at Cambridge Biomedical Inc., Cell Signaling Technology (CST), Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, University of Virginia Health System, and UMass Medical School, where they gained expertise in immunology, virology, and vaccine development.

Jonathan Castillo received a Ph.D. in Immunology/Virology from UMass Chan Medical School from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Immunology from LIU Post, from 1993 to 1996. Jonathan completed their undergraduate studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a B.S. in Biotechnology from 1988 to 1992.
