Marcio Rinaldi

Marcio Rinaldi has a strong background in software engineering with a focus on developing and maintaining various platforms using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. Marcio has extensive experience in the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) field, having worked on multiple GRC platforms throughout their career.

At SAI360, Marcio currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer, responsible for developing and maintaining two GRC platforms. Marcio also works on enhancing the Power BI model and data extraction across multiple products using T-SQL and Azure Data Factory.

Prior to their current role, Marcio worked at Braspag as a Software Development Specialist, where they played a key role in expanding the company's services to small business clients. Marcio achieved this by replacing parts of the legacy reconciliation software with a distributed system using C# and Akka.NET. In addition, they contributed to strengthening the coding skills of the team through presentations on functional programming concepts and reactive programming using Akka.

Before Braspag, Marcio worked at Bazinga Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they developed a trades marketplace service for condo management software. Marcio also provided coaching and training to a C# developer in F# and functional programming concepts.

Marcio gained experience in the GRC field at Modulo Security Solutions, where they held multiple roles. As a Programming Coordinator, they led a large team of developers and successfully delivered the 2014 FIFA World Cup Smart Government Solution project. Marcio also developed and maintained a GRC platform and Smart Government Solution using C#, ASP.NET, DevExpress, and SQL Server.

Prior to Modulo Security Solutions, Marcio worked at CI&T as a Software Engineer, where they developed an entertaining guide for a major newspaper and created a micro ORM framework and a search engine using Enterprise Library and Lucene.NET.

Marcio's early career at DBA and Braspag focused on software engineering and management roles. Marcio developed internal systems for telecommunications and oil companies using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. At Braspag, they also served as an IT Manager, overseeing a small team of developers and designing applications for online and offline payments.

Throughout their career, Marcio has consistently demonstrated their technical expertise and ability to deliver high-quality solutions.

Marcio Rinaldi completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications in areas such as functional architecture with F#, advanced unit testing, agile project management with Scrum, encapsulation and SOLID principles, F# functional data structures, introduction to F#, introduction to property-based testing with F#, test-first development, test-driven development with F#, and unit testing with F#.
