Udara Fernando is an experienced quality professional with a strong background in quality management and technical leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Quality at Saie since August 2025, Udara previously held the positions of Director, Quality & Technical and Senior Manager, Quality Compliance at Glossier, Inc. from November 2023 to August 2025. Prior experience includes working at Unilever as an Associate Quality Manager in External Partnerships for the Beauty & Well-being sector and as Supplier Quality Engineer at Siemens Healthineers. Earlier roles involved quality assurance and engineering positions at Cognizant, contributing to projects with notable clients such as Blue Cross Blue Shield. Udara holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where significant projects included designing an automated pill dispenser and participating in surgical observerships.
