Amy Espeseth currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Sail Biomedicines since October 2023. Prior to this role, Amy served as Senior Vice President of Infectious Disease and Vaccines and Vice President of Vaccines and Infectious Disease at Laronde between October 2022 and January 2024. Amy's extensive experience at Merck spanned over 22 years, culminating in the role of Executive Director for Infectious Disease and Vaccines, and included responsibilities such as managing vaccine research and external collaborations, and advancing RNA therapeutics. Amy began their research career at the Salk Institute as a postdoctoral fellow after earning a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Duke University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
