Teymur Kazakov

Teymur Kazakov is a seasoned molecular biologist specializing in RNA construct design and protein expression, currently serving as Principal Scientist at Sail Biomedicines since January 2024. Previously, Teymur held senior positions at Laronde, where leadership of a research team and the optimization of circular RNA constructs were key responsibilities, alongside contributions to vaccine, gene editing, and CAR-T research. Teymur's earlier roles include Senior Research Scientist at Associates of Cape Cod, where innovative endotoxin detection methods were developed, and Associate Research Scientist at Yale School of Medicine, focusing on viral protein interactions and the establishment of replication systems. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from Lomonosov Moscow State University, acquired between 2005 and 2008 and 1998 and 2003, respectively.
