James Benson

James Benson is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Sainsbury's since February 2019, focusing on projects for the Argos brand. Prior to this, James worked at Argos from September 2016 to February 2019, contributing to in-store technology initiatives, particularly the Pay@Browse system. Early career roles include Software Development Engineer and Graduate Software Engineer positions at Argos, as well as a Junior Developer role at Core Data Systems, where maintenance of client websites was key. James also gained valuable team communication skills at Odeon & UCI Cinemas and developed web applications during a trainee position at Carewizard. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, earned between 2013 and 2016.
