Marcia M.

Marcia M. has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Marcia started their career as a Network Coordinator at Private Healthcare Systems in 1994, where they managed provider networks. Marcia then worked as a Senior Provider Relations Representative at North American Medical Management Illinois from 1996 to 1999, where they developed relationships with healthcare providers. Marcia then joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas as a Network Coordinator for the Tricare Managed Care Program from 1999 to 2000.

In 2000, Marcia became a Network Consultant at Anthem, where they supervised and trained network coordinators in recruiting and negotiating contracts with providers. Marcia then worked as a PPO Network Developer at CorVel Corporation from 2001 to 2003, responsible for developing and maintaining provider networks.

From 2003 to 2004, Marcia worked as a Facilities Contractor at ComPsych. In 2004, they became the Regional Manager of Network Development at Preferred Plan (Interplan Health Group), where they negotiated contracts with healthcare providers.

In 2005, Marcia joined Rush University Medical Center - Rush Health as the Assistant Director of Payer Contracting. Marcia led contracting initiatives and negotiated contracts with managed care plans. Marcia stayed at Rush University Medical Center until 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, Marcia worked as the Director of Contracting at Family Health Network, where they negotiated and managed Medicaid/Medicare managed care agreements with healthcare providers. Since 2017, they have been working as the Director of Managed Care at Saint Anthony Hospital, overseeing the hospital's managed care contracting and ensuring contractual compliance. Marcia leads and trains a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in managed care efforts.

Marcia M. attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1978 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
