Merina Dangol has been working in the Human Resources field since 2019. Merina began their career as a Human Resources Assistant at St. Coletta of Greater Washington before moving on to become a Human Resources Specialist in the same organization. In 2019, they also took on the role of HR Admin and Consultant at Apptad Inc. Prior to that, Merina worked as an Intern at the International Development Institute, where they developed four project proposals, communicated with program participants, translated and interpreted training materials, and designed and edited quarterly newsletters. From 2015 to 2018, Merina worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at INHURED International, where they conducted thematic, strategic, and process evaluations of INHURED policies and strategies, assessed project performance, and initiated, designed, and administered staff evaluation and reporting standards. Lastly, in 2014, Merina worked as a Program Coordinator at Ujyalo Foundation, where they conducted four trainings on ways to use waste plastic bottles, supervised interns and volunteers during fundraising events and office administrative works, and conducted outreach projects resulting in a 50% increase in participation.

Merina Dangol's education history includes a Bachelor's in Development Studies from Kathmandu University (KU) obtained between 2010 and 2014, a Master of Public Administration - MPA from Virginia International University obtained between 2017 and 2018, and a Master of Project Management from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology obtained between 2020 and 2022. Additionally, Merina holds a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Management & Strategy Institute.
