Matthew Brandt

Matthew Brandt, MBA, serves as Chief Financial Officer for Saint Francis Healthcare System.

As CFO, Brandt oversees the Healthcare System’s overall financial plans and policies and directs its accounting practices. He helps drive strategy, enhance stewardship and support the overall Ministry in its delivery of care.

Brandt joined Saint Francis from HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Ill., where he served as Director of Finance/CFO for almost five years. He brings nearly 20 years of financial experience and more than 15 years of healthcare finance experience to the Healthcare System.

Brandt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. His economics and political science educational background supports a strong interest in financial analysis and systems that drive strategy to achieve objectives.
