Jay Knochenhauer

Jay Knochenhauer is an experienced Guidance and College Counselor at Saint Francis High School since January 2019, where responsibilities also include serving as the Head Coach for Women's Varsity Golf and Assistant Coach for Men's Varsity Golf. Previous roles include Social Media Director at Shoot 360, School Counselor at Mira Costa High School, and Graduate Assistant in Men's Basketball at Loyola Marymount University. Jay has also worked as a Senior Recreation Leader for the City of Manhattan Beach and filled in as a Substitute Teacher at St. Francis High School, where leadership roles in various sports, including coaching football, lacrosse, and basketball, were undertaken. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Sociology from the same institution.
