Chris Franklin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 1993, they gained experience through a university work placement at Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Valley Forge. chris then worked as a Hospitality Manager at SUTCLIFFE CATERING SOUTH EAST LIMITED from July 1996 to March 1997. Chris went on to work at the Royal College of Art, where they held positions such as Catering and Functions Manager, Events and Exhibitions Manager, Facilities Manager and Events Manager, and Events and Exhibitions Manager/Catering Contract Manager from 1997 to 2015. After that, Chris became the Managing Director of PERFECT DAY WEDDINGS & EVENTS LTD from October 2015 to August 2018. Currently, Chris is employed as the Head Of Support Services at Saint Francis Hospice since December 2019, and they previously served as the Events Manager at the same organization from October 2017 to December 2019.

Chris Franklin has a BA (HONS) degree in International Hospitality Management from the University of Brighton, which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. chris also pursued a degree in Curating Contemporary Art at Chelsea School of Art from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a BA (HONS) degree in Political Science and Government from Ursinus College, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Chris completed their GCSE at Bishop Challoner in 1985. Recently, in 2021, they obtained a Health & Safety degree from IOSH.
