Dr. Sascha Buthmann

Dr. Sascha Buthmann is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and materials science, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager, Lean & Performance Manager, Prozess Manager, and Projektleiter R&D at Saint-Gobain Sekurit since August 2017. Prior to this role, Dr. Buthmann was the Gruppenleiter Forschung und Entwicklung at the Institut für Werkstoffanwendungen im Maschinenbau IWM der RWTH Aachen from February 2012 to March 2017. Dr. Buthmann holds a Ph.D. in Maschinenbau and Werkstoffkunde, as well as a Diplom-Ingenieur in Metallurgie und Werkstofftechnik, both from RWTH Aachen University.
