Melissa Becker

Melissa Becker is an experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as an Intellectual Property and Competitive Analyst at Saint-Gobain Surface Solutions since November 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain Abrasives from July 2018 to November 2023 and contributed as a Research Assistant at Tenhaeff Lab Group from January 2016 to May 2018, focusing on the formulation of polymer electrolytes for lithium ion batteries and polymer mesh patterning. Melissa also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Rochester, supporting a variety of engineering courses. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering obtained in 2018 and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field completed in 2017, both from the University of Rochester.
