Basma Kharrat

Basma Kharrat is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in external venturing and strategic planning, currently serving as Vice President of External Venturing and General Manager of ZirPro at Saint-Gobain since April 2017. With P&L responsibility for an international business specializing in technical ceramic beads and powders, Basma oversees operations across four plants in France, China, and the USA, managing a workforce of approximately 400 people in over 15 countries. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Planning and M&A for Innovative Materials at BearingPoint, where Basma led various business development and process optimization initiatives across multiple sectors. Basma's earlier experience includes logistics management at Renault and an R&D engineering position at EDF R&D. Education includes degrees from École Polytechnique, Mines Paris - PSL, and completion of classes préparatoires at IPEST.
