Charles Leyder

Charles Leyder is an accomplished leader in research and development, currently serving as the EV Global Business Manager at Saint-Gobain since August 2019, overseeing international operations in Europe, North America, Korea, India, and China to deliver innovative solutions for electric vehicle battery packs. With a solid foundation in R&D management, Charles has previously held roles such as Composites Systems R&D Director and Global R&D Manager in various divisions of Saint-Gobain, where responsibilities included team management, change management, and the development of advanced materials for aerospace and other applications. Charles's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Physics from École Polytechnique and a PhD in Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
