Michelle Sugimoto is a Senior Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain since June 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle served as a Graduate Research Fellow at Boston University from September 2017 to May 2022, where notable contributions included fabricating rare-earth nickelate-based electrodes and developing a chromium removal technique for solid oxide fuel cells. Michelle also worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and Grader, supervising students and adapting coursework for online learning. At Kalamazoo College, experience included roles as a Student LEED Auditor, Recycling Intern, and Lab Assistant, focusing on sustainability assessments and laboratory collaboration.
