Silvia Mariani

Silvia Mariani has a robust background in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and research and development, currently holding the position of VP Strategy and M&A for Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Saint-Gobain. Previously, Silvia served as an R&D Portfolio Manager focused on windows and as a Senior Project Manager. Silvia's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Université Paris Cité and a Master's degree in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma, complemented by research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student at Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII), along with internships and summer student roles at CERN.
