Elizabeth Kaplan

Elizabeth Kaplan is currently a Medical Scribe at Saint John's Physician Partners, where responsibilities include transcribing clinical visits and assisting with electronic health records in the OB/GYN specialty. Kaplan also serves as a Clinical Research Project Member at The Healthcare Improvement & Innovation in Quality (THINQ) Collaborative, focusing on physician burnout and improving discharge planning processes. Additionally, Kaplan conducts research at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, studying the effects of Myc on immune response gene transcription. Experience extends to leadership roles at the Fellowship for International Service and Health and mentoring underprivileged middle school students through The Bruin Experiment. Kaplan's clinical exposure includes volunteering at Cedars-Sinai and shadowing pediatric endocrinologists at Kaiser Permanente. Elizabeth is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at UCLA, aiming to graduate in June 2024.
