Edward Foote

Dean, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Associate Dean, School of Health Professions at Saint Joseph's University

In July 2018, Dr. Foote PCPS’87, PCPS’91 (PharmD), returned to his alma mater, as dean of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. Prior to his appointment at PCP, Dr. Foote was professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Wilkes University. He began his academic career as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Rutgers University.

Dr. Foote has published over 90 peer-reviewed book chapters, journal articles, and abstracts in the areas of nephrology, pharmacy education, and interprofessional education. Prior to his roles in academic administration, he practiced in the area of nephrology pharmacy. A registered pharmacist in Pennsylvania, he is also a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) and a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). He has been active in many professional organizations including ACCP, American Pharmacists Association, and American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. In 2018, he was received the Carpenter Award, Wilkes University’s highest honor for teaching.
