Valerie Lazalier Edmison serves as the Head of Publications at the Saint Louis Art Museum, responsible for managing publication projects from initiation to completion. Prior to this role, Valerie held the position of Exhibitions Project Manager at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where expertise in project management was applied to coordinate outdoor art installations and exhibitions. Experience as Curatorial Project Manager at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center involved overseeing exhibition plans and budgets. Early career roles included coordinative positions at Lawrence University and U.S.Art Company, along with internships at the National Gallery of Art and Indiana University Art Museum. Valerie holds multiple advanced degrees in Art Librarianship and History of Art from Indiana University, along with additional executive training in Arts and Culture Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania.
