Amy Clendennen

Amy Clendennen serves as the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at St. Louis Community College since January 2024. Previously, Clendennen held the position of General Counsel at Truman State University from January 2021 to January 2024. Prior to this, Clendennen worked as an Attorney and Shareholder at Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. from February 2008 to January 2021, specializing in Employment and Education law. Clendennen began the legal career as an Associate Attorney at Thompson Coburn LLP, focusing on Labor and Employment law from September 2003 to September 2005. Earlier experience includes a role as a Technical Writer at 3D Systems from 1997 to 2000. Clendennen earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2003, a Master of Arts in English from Ball State University in 1997, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Truman State University in 1995.
