Janice Nesser

Janice Nesser currently serves as the District Dean for the School of Communication, Design and Creative Arts at St. Louis Community College, overseeing programs across four locations. Nesser has held various academic leadership roles, including Dean of Liberal Arts at the Florissant Valley campus and Director of the CCAMPIS grant, supporting low-income parents in higher education through child care services. Additionally, Nesser is involved with the Women's Caucus for Art as the Legacy Campaign Director and a Board member, advocating for women's contributions in the arts. Nesser's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Art History and Studio Art-Photography from Webster University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Political Science from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Nesser also completed the Academic Leadership Program at The Chair Academy and has held various teaching and leadership positions within STLCC.
