Virginia McDowell

Virginia McDowell is a trustee at Saint Louis University and was previously the president and CEO of Isle of Capri Casinos. Virginia was recruited in 2007 to help lead a process to develop a long-range strategic and operating plan for the company, which included improving operating results, growing free cash flow, and developing a capital allocation program. McDowell was promoted to president and CEO in 2011, becoming the only female CEO among the top ten gaming companies. Prior to their work at Isle of Capri, McDowell served as the chief information officer at Trump Entertainment Resorts.

Virginia McDowell holds a BA in Communications from Temple University and has attended the National Security Seminar at the US ARMY War College. Virginia is currently enrolled in the Advanced Management College at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
