Jason Ayran

Jason Ayran began their work experience in 2006 as a Marketing Representative at The Tech Connection. Jason later worked as an Intern, Information Technology Help Desk Representative, Resident Assistant, and Student Ambassador at McKendree University from 2003 to 2007.

In 2007, they joined Saint Louis University as an Event Specialist, coordinating alumni reunions and serving as a university contact for events. Jason also pursued a part-time MBA degree, which they completed in 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Jason worked at The Maschhoffs, first as a Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist, then as a Human Resources Development Specialist, and finally as a Human Resources Generalist. Jason handled various HR responsibilities such as recruiting, performance management, and talent management.

In 2013, Jason joined Maschhoff Family Foods as an Organizational Leadership & Development Manager until 2016. During this time, they focused on leadership development and organizational improvement.

Since 2016, Jason has been at the Saint Louis Zoo. Jason started as a Manager of Workforce Development & Training, where they designed and delivered learning programs and maintained relationships with training vendors. In 2021, they transitioned into the role of Director of Workforce Development.

Jason Ayran has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Saint Louis University - John Cook School of Business, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing and Spanish from McKendree University from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their degrees, Jason has obtained several certifications. Jason obtained the "ATD Instructional Design Certificate" from SEWI-ATD - Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the Association for Talent Development in September 2022. Jason also holds certifications in "Problem Solving: PDSA" and "Value and Waste" from TKMG Academy, Inc., acquired in November and October 2020, respectively. Furthermore, they achieved certifications in "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" from FranklinCovey in January 2020, "5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity" from FranklinCovey in August 2017, "True Colors" from True Colors International in August 2016, "Change Management Specialist" and "Sig Sigma Lean Professional" from the Management and Strategy Institute in January 2015. Additionally, they completed "Leadership Architect 101" and "VOICES 360 Feedback Interpretation & Coaching" from Korn/Ferry International powered by LOMINGER in April 2012.
