Megan Pellock

Megan Pellock has a diverse work experience across various industries. Megan started their career as a Public Relations Intern at The Hauser Group, Inc. in 2020. Megan then worked as a Marketing Intern at Sivia Law, where they were responsible for creating and curating content, writing blogs, and assisting with marketing plans for the attorneys. In 2018, they held the role of Social Media Manager at Illinois State University Student Activities, where they managed multiple social media accounts and collaborated with the team to plan events. Megan also worked as a Lead Social Media Intern at the Illinois State University Office of Admissions, where they mentored new interns, created content, and engaged with prospective students. Megan was also the President of the Illinois State University Chapter for PRSSA, where they supervised a team and handled funding paperwork for an international conference. Additionally, they served as a Guest Services Manager at ISU Bone Student Center, where they managed employee communications and organized events. Megan also gained experience in public relations as an intern at Concordia Publishing House, where they assisted with various projects and achieved media coverage for an event. Their most recent role is as a Public Relations Coordinator at the Saint Louis Zoo.

Megan Pellock attended Illinois State University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. In 2019, they also studied Intercultural Communication at Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen for a brief period. Megan obtained an Agency-Ready Certificate from PR Council in August 2020. Prior to their university education, they attended Edwardsville Senior High School from 2012 to 2016.
