Rebecca McMiller

Rebecca McMiller has a diverse range of work experience. Rebecca began their professional career as an intern at The Celebrity Cafe Magazine in 2009, where they wrote news briefs, feature articles, and movie reviews. Rebecca then went on to intern at the Missouri Botanical Garden in 2010, where they designed brochures and posters and assisted with data entry and event promotion. That same year, they also worked as a Public Information Specialist at the Missouri Senate, where they managed communications for seven senators, drafted various documents, and served as an assistant photographer. In 2013, they joined the American Optometric Association as a Public Relations and Graphic Support Specialist, where they strategized consumer campaigns, prepared press releases and media advisories, and proofread and copy edited internal projects. Finally, in 2015, they became the Marketing Communications Manager at the Saint Louis Zoo.

Rebecca McMiller completed their Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Stephens College, from the period of 2006 to 2010. Additionally, during the same time frame, they also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree with a specialization in Mass Media: Journalism from Stephens College.
