Heather Torok

Heather Torok is the Senior Program Officer of the Health Portfolio at the Saint Luke's Foundation. Heather has been with the foundation since January 2012 and in their current role since December 2020.

Heather's previous role was as the Vice President for Programs and Strategy at the Saint Luke's Foundation of Cleveland. In that role, Heather led the foundation grant making strategy and program team in support of the mission. Heather managed the annual grant making budget ($6.8M in 2020) to achieve health equity by addressing the social determinants of health for people in neighborhoods surrounding Saint Luke's and throughout Cuyahoga County. Heather also forged partnerships and investments with local and national partners, programs, policy and program related investment. Heather was a funding partner, co-creator, policy strategist in regional healthy food access work, lead remediation initiative, childhood obesity efforts and Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund.

Before their time at the Saint Luke's Foundation, Heather was the Director of Business Operations at Recovery Resources from January 2004 to December 2012. In that role, Heather was responsible for leading the organization's business operations.

Heather began their career as a Division Analyst at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation from January 1997 to December 2004. In that role, Heather was responsible for providing analysis and support to the foundation's divisional operations.

Heather Torok has a MPH from University of Michigan School of Public Health in Public Health: Health Behavior and Education & Health Care Administration/Policy. Heather also has a BA from Boston College in Applied Psychology & Human Development from the Lynch School of Education. Heather has participated in Leadership Cleveland Class of 2020 from the Cleveland Leadership Center. Heather has also taken classes at the Center for Creative Leadership, as well as French Immersion at Institut de Touraine and college classes at Universite de Tours in Tours, France.
