Cristal Painter

Cristal Painter is a seasoned hospital therapist with extensive experience in trauma-focused individual and family therapy within acute care settings, currently employed at Saint Luke's Health System - Crittenton Children's Center since September 2016. Previously, Cristal served as a counseling intern at The Lilac Center and Thalia House, specializing in DBT-focused individual counseling and case management. Cristal has also worked as a graduate assistant at UMKC, providing academic mentoring and coordinating student success events. Additional experience includes behavioral health counseling at KVC Health Systems, various research assistant roles, and community health initiatives, showcasing a strong foundation in mental health services and community support. Cristal holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
