Stefanie Powell

Powell began her career in accounting at Deloitte & Touche in Columbus, OH. She first transitioned into higher education in 2003 at Ohio University. In 2007, Powell accepted an auditor position at the University of North Carolina and has worked there since. Along with experience, she also holds two industry certifications: Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor. Powell earned her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and completed the Global Competitiveness Program from Regent’s College in London.

She and husband Jeff, along with their four children, will move to the Lacey area to start in January. Originally from Texas and then living in North Carolina for the last 15 years, the Powell family is most excited to experience the multiple seasons, outdoor activities, and beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest.
