Chris Girata

Chris Girata has extensive experience in Episcopal church leadership, currently serving as Rector at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church since August 2016. Previously, Chris held the position of Rector at Calvary Episcopal Church from August 2012 to July 2016 and served as Associate Rector at Saint Luke's Church from June 2008 to July 2012. Chris also gained experience as a Seminarian at Washington National Cathedral, where involvement in the Center for Global Justice and Reconciliation took place. In terms of education, Chris earned a Doctor of Ministry from Duke University (2013-2017), an MDiv from Virginia Theological Seminary (2006-2008), and an MTS from Emory University (2002-2004). An undergraduate degree in Religious Studies was obtained from Stetson University (1998-2002).
