Nelson Ham is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in geology and environmental science, serving as a Professor at St. Norbert College since August 1994. In this role, Nelson instructs undergraduate courses in various geological subfields and supervises collaborative research projects. Prior to this, Nelson worked as a Fly Fishing Guide and Instructor at Tight Lines Fly Fishing Company from June 2005 to June 2013, where responsibilities included guiding fishing excursions and providing fly tying and casting instruction. Nelson holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geology from Augustana College.
