Ahmad Baker

Ahmad Baker is a dedicated leader and advocate with extensive experience in governance, student representation, and technology. Currently serving as a Governor on the Board of Governors at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and as President of the Board of Directors for the SAIT Students' Association, Ahmad champions student rights and collaborates with government stakeholders to influence policies. Ahmad's role as a Director of Advocacy for the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations further highlights commitment to amplifying the voices of postsecondary students across Canada. Previous experience includes positions as a Junior Database Administrator at YouQuest Calgary, where database integrity and performance were prioritized, and as a Software Developer at Andor Jordan, contributing significantly to the development of a dynamic website. Ahmad also founded SmartGO Store, an online electronics retailer that enhanced customer access to technology. Education includes a Diploma in Software Development from SAIT and a High School Diploma from the American Academy Jordan.
