Michael Gunderson

Michael Gunderson is an experienced sales and applications specialist in the histology and immunohistochemistry fields. Currently serving as Area Sales Manager II at Sakura Finetek USA since October 2022, Gunderson focuses on business growth in the Midwest by promoting high-quality core histology equipment and supplies. Previously, as Commercial Manager for INOVIQ Ltd, responsibility included developing sales across the United States, collaborating with distributors, and participating in major trade shows. Gunderson's background also includes roles at Leica Biosystems, the University of Minnesota, Mayo Clinic Rochester, and the University of Iowa, where expertise in technical support, laboratory leadership, and histology processes was honed.
