William McVicar

William (Bill) McVicar, PhD, is a seasoned executive in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Director and Board Member with a role on the Audit Committee at Satellos Bioscience since August 2021. McVicar also holds the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Salarius Pharmaceuticals and operates as Principal Consultant at BioStrat Consulting LLC. Previously, McVicar was President and CEO of Neuromity Therapeutics, Inc., and Flex Pharma, as well as EVP, Chief Scientific Officer, and President at Inotek Pharmaceuticals. Earlier experiences include leadership roles at Sepracor Pharmaceuticals and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer - Gencell, as well as tenure as International Project Manager at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (Sandoz). McVicar earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Vermont and a BA in Chemistry/Secondary Education from SUNY Oneonta.
