David Kavanagh

David Kavanagh has a strong background in technology and leadership roles. David is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Salary Finance. Prior to this, they served as the Group Chief Technology Officer at Boomin, where they successfully launched the platform with a team of 120 and oversaw various functions such as data, product, engineering, support, and quality. David also played a crucial role in funding, investor relations, and acquisitions.

Before joining Boomin, David held multiple roles at CrowdToLive®, including NED & CTO, where they advised startups and founders as a Zinc's Venture Builder Traveling Fellow and provided tech leadership training as part of the CTO Academy. David also served as a consultant for various organizations, providing technical due diligence and digital transformation support.

David's experience also includes being the Chief Technology Officer at Chip, where they led the engineering and product teams and obtained FCA authorization. Prior to that, they were the Group CTO at Purplebricks Group PLC, where they played a pivotal role in the company's international expansion and growth.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in driving technological innovation and growth.

David Kavanagh completed their Leaving Cert at St Marys CBS Ireland in 1993. David then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing at the University of Wales, Cardiff, graduating with a 2.1 in 1998.
