Richard Hargreaves

Richard Hargreaves has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Richard served as a Director at Boku, Inc., a company specializing in direct carrier billing and was listed on AIM. Richard also worked as a Director at Autologyx, a software automation company, where they led the government's Angel CoFund investment. Richard was also a Director at Numecent Holdings Ltd, which holds patents on virtualization and data streaming. Additionally, Richard held the position of Director at Blue Systems Ltd trading as sales-i, a sales productivity tool company. Richard also served as Chairman of BVCA and worked as the London Office Manager at 3i Group plc. Recently, Richard has taken on various director positions, including at Shop Street (Technologies) Limited, SnapDragon Monitoring Ltd, and PCL Health. In 2021, they also authored a book titled "Business Angel Investing" which offers practical advice on angel investment.

Richard Hargreaves completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Sciences at the University of Cambridge from 1964 to 1967. Richard then pursued further education and earned an MSc and PhD in Electrical Materials Science from Imperial College London, covering the years 1967 to 1971.
