Matt Helgren has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Matt began their career in 1993 as a Software Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices. In 1994, they moved to ROSS Technology as a Software Engineer, where they implemented changes to the Sun Operating System HAL and worked with Sun on validating SunOS on ROSS microprocessors. In 1996, Matt joined Sun Microsystems, Inc. as a Principal Engineer. Matt then moved to Vignette in 2006 as a Software Architect, where they were responsible for the design of new features for the Portal Server Product. In 2008, Matt joined HotSchedules.com, Inc. as VP of Product Engineering, where they managed development and QA for HotSchedules SaaS Product. In 2019, they moved to HotSchedules, Now Powered by Fourth as VP of Product Engineering, leading the software engineering teams for two main SaaS products of the business in the Labor Management and Inventory Management space. Most recently, in 2021, Matt joined CVEX as Chief Technology Officer, where they created a hybrid engineering team with off-shore scrum team, Austin based senior software engineers and product manager. Matt also defined and developed to MVP the product platform for private equity trading with on-boarding for KYC/KYB/AML validation, marketplace for private companies and equities, post trade flow that uses electronic signatures for transfer agreements and automated funds transfers between parties. Matt is currently VP of Engineering at SalesRabbit, Inc.
Matt Helgren received their BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992, followed by their MS in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009. Matt also holds a Java Certified Programmer certification from Oracle.
