Francois Zimmermann

Francois Zimmermann serves as the Field CTO for Data Cloud EMEA at Salesforce, providing executive advisory to activate data for exceptional customer experiences since February 2024. Prior to this role, Francois was the EMEA Field CTO at Tableau Software from December 2018 to February 2024, where key responsibilities included building CTO-level relationships with technology partners and developing joint go-to-market strategies. Francois also held various leadership positions at Hitachi Vantara from May 2006 to December 2018, including Global CTO for the Financial Services Vertical and Chief Technologist roles, focusing on solutions for banking and vertical markets. Earlier in the career, Francois worked as a Technical Consultant at Accenture, specializing in database and storage architecture. Francois holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Manchester.
